The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) are the European Union's flagship programme for doctoral and postdoctoral training. The year 2026 marks a key milestone: the 30th anniversary of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions.

The Marie Curie Alumni Association [Marie-Curie Alumni Association] and the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) aim to celebrate this anniversary with a highly significant event, bringing together the different perspectives that have made the programme’s success possible at our university, featuring the presentation of various success stories. Additionally, we will introduce the support offered by the UAM at the time of proposal submission (for both students and supervisors) as well as the hosting programme. These tools are part of the foundation for establishing a talent attraction and retention strategy, one of the fundamental pillars of the UAM's future.

MIAS and MSCA

The MSCA “Choose Europe for Science” initiative: The MOTYVES project, which will be developed at MIAS, was selected as one of the 16 best initiatives by the European Union. With funding of 1.4 million euros, it plays a key role as a hub for attracting researchers internationally, boosting the UAM's environment of scientific excellence.
