The members of the International Scientific Committee are internationally renowned scholars and researchers in fields relating to the centre’s research areas. 

The functions of the International Committee are to overview the selection of international talent through the annual MIAS call for applications, and to advise the Institute on its strategic lines and action plans. According to the MIAS’s strategic projection, most of the members of the International Committee come from American institutions.
