Prochain lancement de l’appel à candidatures 2022-2023

Délégation MESRI

Dans le cadre du soutien apporté au rayonnement international des SHS par le Ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche et de l’Innovation - MESRI, un nouveau dispositif de mobilité de longue durée (un semestre ou un an) a été ouvert dans chacune des cinq Écoles du réseau des Écoles françaises à l’Étranger (Resefe) pour encourager l’élaboration et le dépôt de projets de recherches répondant à des appels d’offre nationaux ou européens.

À la Casa de Velázquez, ce dispositif à destination d’enseignants-chercheurs expérimentés se traduit par un accueil au sein du Madrid Institute for Advanced Study (MIAS), afin de préparer et déposer un projet de type ERC, MSCA RISE, COST, H2020 ou ANR, dont la thématique s’inscrira dans l’un des axes de la politique scientifique de l’établissement.

L’appel à candidatures sera ouvert du 27 octobre au 30 novembre, dans le cadre de celui du MIAS.

MIAS, new member of the UBIAS international network

The centre of research in Humanities & Social Sciences is to form part of a prestigious academic forum which brings together the most renowned institutes of advanced studies in the world

Another step forward in the consolidation of the MIAS (Madrid Institute for Advanced Study). The research centre, originated by the collaboration between the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the French Casa de Velázquez, is, from Monday November 16, to form part of the UBIAS (University-Based Institutes for Advanced Study) network. The network being composed of 44 renowned university institutes for advanced studies in Humanities and Social Sciences from all over the globe. The most prestigious university institutes for advanced studies in the USA, Canada, Brazil, Japan, China, India, S. Korea, Australia, South Africa and Europe form part of the network.

Call for applications 2020

Once more MIAS opens its calls to offer researchers different types of residency with the aim of reinforcing and internationalizing research in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Admitted in April 2019 as a full member of the prestigious NetIAS (Network of European Institutes for Advanced Study) network, the institute has become part of the IAS, which promotes spaces for debate, research and the creation of new ideas and is recognized worldwide as an agent for attracting talent on a global scale and as a promoter of prestige and visibility both in the coordinating institution and in the country in which it is located. 

From October 27 to November 30, 2020 researchers who meet the requirements indicated in each call will be able to present their candidacy through the procedures and platforms enabled for this purpose. All relevant information is available on the web and in this summary of call for applications.
